Torre di Ceparano Romagna DOC Sangiovese Superiore Riserva 2017 - Fattoria Zerbina

Originally created as the Fattoria's "second wine," since 2008, thanks to the increasingly consistent quality of the alberello (bush-trained) vines, this wine has become the Riserva par excellence of the Romagna Sangiovese Superiore denomination. Its bold drinkability, yet its ability to pair well with more informal situations, makes it a pleasant wine to drink and accessible even to less experienced palates. In some vintages, to enhance its fruity character without losing the Sangiovese character, small percentages of Merlot may be added, never exceeding 5-6%. Selection during harvest and meticulous attention to aging are therefore equal to those of the flagship wines, and the results achieved amply demonstrate this.
