Description
A historic brand like Fontanafredda couldn't help but paint the white version of a Roero wine increasingly renowned for the quality of its wines. We're in Piedmont, a land of great reds and, equally, promising finesse from white wines. Arneis grapes make up the entire blend for this wine. After a few hours of cold maceration, the grapes are pressed and fermented in stainless steel tanks. They then age for 4-5 months in the same vats. On the nose, it evokes exuberant exotic fruit, along with ripe pear and the sweetness of acacia honey. On the palate, it is matched by a soft and inviting palate, well-managed by the finesse of the acidity and, above all, the savory character.
