Description
Fontanafredda's Moscato d'Asti Millesimato Le Fronde is produced in vineyards located in the municipalities of Serralunga d'Alba and Santo Stefano Belbo, in the province of Cuneo. It is made exclusively from Moscato Bianco grapes, harvested exclusively by hand in the first ten days of September and pressed whole. Fermentation takes place in a steel pressure tank at a controlled low temperature. The wine then ages for two months in steel before being bottled. Fontanafredda's Moscato d'Asti Millesimato Le Fronde is characterized by a straw yellow color. On the nose, it opens with fragrant aromas of moss, black locust flowers, and orange blossom, enriched by lingering hints of sage and honey. On the palate, it is sweet and distinctive, very balanced, with notes reminiscent of honey and freshly harvested grapes. Excellent on its own, it is perfect with desserts, especially fine and delicate ones.
