This variety produces intense and aromatic wines, with deep aromas of white fruit—pineapple, peach, and apple—that fade into a floral and citrusy second note, invigorated by aromas of honey and freshly cut grass. After two years of maturation, raisin and menthol aromas emerge, from dried white fruit to apricots and anise. On the palate, the wine is dense, smoothly extractive, with fresh, savory notes that leave a pleasant aromatic sensation. Wines made with Falanghina are supported by a good medium-low acidity structure, which allows for long aging.
