Description
The Trasor 750 red wine is produced by the Rosset winery in the Aosta Valley, whose first hectares of vineyards were planted in 2001 in the Senin district of Saint-Christophe. In the following years, the company decided to push production even higher, purchasing vineyards above 900 meters above sea level. The wine is made from red grapes sourced from vineyards located in Chambave and Saint-Christophe at approximately 750 meters above sea level. The grapes are vinified in stainless steel, where the wine also ages for 6 months, and then finally in the bottle for 3 months. The wine is ruby red in color, with a nose reminiscent of red berries, black pepper, and licorice. The palate is dry, with velvety tannins and a good persistence. It pairs excellently with polenta and meat, braised meats, and medium-aged cheeses.
