Description

Borgogno's No Name is a pure Nebbiolo from the Langhe region with an interesting history, centered on Barolo, Oscar Farinetti, and the production regulations. The vineyards are located on the hills near Barolo and grow on calcareous-clay soil. Hand-picked, the grapes ferment spontaneously in temperature-controlled concrete vats (22-28°C) for approximately 15 days and are then lightly pressed. The wine then ages in large oak barrels for 3 years and 6 months in bottle.
