Cabernet Sauvignon is one of the world's most esteemed red wines; however, despite its importance in the sector, this grape variety is relatively new: it is the result of a possible cross between Cabernet Franc and Sauvignon Blanc, which occurred during the seventeenth century in southwestern France. Cabernet Veneto IGT Serena 1881 is a deep ruby ​​red wine, tending toward brick red with aging. On the palate, it is intense, refined, and full-bodied. With a moderate alcohol content, it possesses a distinctive personality, enhanced by a slightly herbaceous aroma reminiscent of violets and wisteria.
