Description

Ca' La Bionda's Amarone Classico, the most famous of Veneto's red wines, is made from a blend of mostly Corvina and Corvinone, with a small percentage of Rondinella and Molinara. The grapes are left to dry until the end of January, losing about 40% of their weight in water. After pressing, the very dense and rich must ferments at a low temperature in steel tanks for a long time, before being transferred to large oak barrels to age for three years. Once bottled, it will remain in the cellars to age for at least eight months before being released for sale.
